I've been researching my Scottish and Irish roots for some years now. Even in my own family there was political
intrigue, ties to royalty, romance, and tragedy that inspires me to write medieval stories set in England and Scotland.
When I'm not writing, researching, and making bears, I enjoy gardening, when it's not too hot!

Wilde and Woolly Bears!!!
When I'm not writing, I work on these award-winning teddies that have been featured in
Texas Monthly, Teddy Bear Review Magazine, The MacNeill Galley, and the Texas Co-op Monthly. They have found homes as
far away as Australia, Russia, China, and Canada.
Featured is my special Celtic Clan bear, Campbell, but I make them in the various tartans
and hand-embroider their paws with their clan name and colors of the plaid. They wear a sash and bonnet.

personalized bears designed to commemorate authors’ books. When she’s not writing or making bears, she’s
teaching online writing courses.
Originally from California,
she’s lived in eight states and now resides in the heart of Texas. She
